I hate physical therapy!!
Brinley has quite the set of exercises to do every time she’s awake. It’s all I can do to keep her awake long enough to do all of them. As a matter of fact today she actually started falling asleep towards the end. We had been working for a little over an hour and she was fussing so I gave her a pacifier and she closes her eyes like it’s bed time! Most of the time she looks at me and gives me these whines that I swear are her way of saying, “I hate physical therapy!” We went to physical therapy the day before her eye surgery and the therapist suggested we take her up to Primary Children’s Hospital Physical Therapy. They have doctors that deal more specifically with low muscle tone. The therapist thought it was odd that her legs are really strong but her neck,and trunk are very weak. But the good news is he told us that her legs being strong is a good sign. So we’re exercising and waiting to see if we move on to Primary Children’s.
Her eye surgery recovery is coming along. The crankiness is slowing lessening, but her poor eyes still look like pretty bad. Thanks for the comments, we’ll keep you updated.
