Eye Surgery
Today Brinley had her eye surgery to correct her cross eyes. Actually what she had is called esotropia, which is when the eyes point in towards the nose. This morning we headed out around 6:30 to get her to the hospital. She was so happy and content before surgery. On her way back, however, we could hear the nurse bringing her down the hall. She was screaming her little head off. I’ve been holding her all day as she screams. She’s also been attempting to sleep off the anesthesia. Here’s a good before pic:
And here’s an after. Don’t worry about the bloody eyes, it’s normal, but it sure looks like it hurts.

She is beautiful either way! I see lots of Aaron in her. The girls were asking about you tonight, so when life settles down we will have to all connect. No rush though. Just wanted to you know you are missed!

Wow! I can’t imagine how hard that must have been handing her over to the nurses! You are amazing Holly!!! I hope all continues to get better for little Brinley! Such a cutie!
As for the Laguna Pictures! How fun! We are headed to San Diego to go to Sea World on Sunday- we’ve been to Cali before to go to Disneyland but I’ve never been to Sea World. I think I’m more excited than Elodie!
