11 Weeks
I can’t believe how big Brinley is getting. I thought it would be good to send an update of her development.
1) Brinley is 11 pounds and counting. She’s a chubber! At her 2 month check up she was in the 43rd% for weight and 95th% for length. Definitely gets that from her Daddy.
2) If you read the last post you know she’s learning to nap without being held. Learning…
3) Brinley loves to smile and coo after eating but definitely not before.
4) She HATES tummy time. I don’t know how she’ll ever learn to crawl.
5) Bath time is her FAVORITE time of the day.
6) She loves to “stand up.” Maybe she’ll learn to walk before learning to crawl.
7) She has the prettiest long eyelashes. But that’s just my opinion.
She LOVES kisses (see the picture below for proof)
9) She HATES her carseat. Actually, she can stand it for about 10 minutes then she’s had enough. Several times we’ve heard screaming during an entire drive, stroll, shopping trip, etc.
10) She LOVES to be cuddled and we love to cuddle her. We’ve had to eat many many times while holding Brinley in the other arm.
11) She’s our little kangaroo. Just as she hates to be in the carseat she loves to be in the sling right next to you. She’ll ball her little fists up and put them both right under her chin like a kangaroo.

Hey Holly! how cute is little Brinley! She is growing so fast!! Addysen at one year is barely 16 pounds!!
It sounds like you are having so much fun. Crying in the carseat and all! It’s new to her, give her a few more weeks and she will be adjusted to the carseat. It took both of my girls a few weeks to get use to being out and about.
